Egypt ships lemon twelve months a year, led by the Eureka cultivar (marketed domestically as Adalia). Dry harvest conditions drive acidity up to 5.5–6% — higher than Turkish or Spanish supply — and tight 53–80 mm calibration is the standard, not the premium tier. Peak window is Nov–Mar but we can usually find containers in May, June, and October shoulder.

Months highlighted in terracotta are peak export availability from Egypt. Shoulder weeks may be available on request — contact our sourcing team for current-week status.
Commercial fit: Near year-round. Fills European summer gap when Spanish and Turkish supply is exhausted. Buyers looking for a single-origin lemon programme often settle on Egypt for this reason.
All sea freight ships reefer from Alexandria or Port Said unless otherwise agreed. Air freight departs Cairo International (CAI).
