Our Story

Rooted in Egypt,
Reaching the World

AFRICAFRESH EXPORT has been running Egyptian fresh-produce export programmes since 2014 — direct from 500+ Nile Valley farms to buyers in 40+ countries.

Modern Egyptian reclaimed-land agriculture — pivot-irrigated orchard blocks
"Egypt has fed the world for five thousand years. We're just making sure it still does."

AFRICAFRESH EXPORT was incorporated in Cairo in 2014 and has been running Egyptian fresh-produce export programmes from the same desk ever since. Our sourcing team works out of New Cairo; our packhouse contacts sit inside Beheira, Nubaria, Ismailia, Fayoum, and Luxor.

The reason this company exists is simple: the traditional Egyptian fresh-produce export chain adds three to five intermediaries between the grower and the importer. Each one takes a margin and, more importantly, each one adds a day. We cut that out. You deal with one sourcing manager, one contract, one documentation pack — and the carton you receive carries a code that traces back to the farm, harvest date, and packing inspector.

Today the network covers 500+ GlobalG.A.P. farms across the Nile Delta, Fayoum, Upper Egypt, the New Valley, and the reclaimed lands west of Alexandria. We ship 12,000+ tonnes a year to buyers in 40+ countries — retail chains, wholesale importers, HORECA distributors, juice processors, and a handful of airline caterers.

Inside the packhouse network. AFRICAFRESH EXPORT operates from sourcing-team desks in New Cairo with packhouse contacts inside Beheira, Nubaria, Ismailia, Fayoum, and Luxor — five regional hubs running parallel grading and pre-cool lines.
Agricultural Advantage

Why Egypt leads in
fresh produce exports

365
Days of Growing Season
Mediterranean coast and desert climate, combined with Nile irrigation, mean every month has a commercial harvest somewhere in the country. Citrus peaks Nov–Apr, mango Jul–Nov, strawberries Dec–Mar, grapes May–Oct.
#4
Global Orange Exporter
Egypt is the fourth-largest orange exporter on the planet after Spain, South Africa, and Turkey. Navel and Valencia from the Nile Delta ship to 40+ countries every winter.
6M+
Hectares Under Cultivation
Delta, Fayoum, Sinai, Upper Egypt, and the reclaimed lands of Nubaria and Toshka — five agronomic regions, different water tables, different soil, different harvest windows. We source from all five.
What We Stand For

Our Values

01
Specs, not adjectives
Every product on this site ships with caliber range, Brix band, reefer setpoint, shelf-life days, packaging spec, and HS code. If a buyer asks for numbers, they get numbers — not "premium quality".
02
One owner per shipment
Each consignment has a named sourcing manager from quote to arrival. You reach the same person on WhatsApp or Telegram 07:00–17:00 Cairo, not a rotating inbox.
03
Long programmes beat one-off containers
Our best work is with buyers who commit a full season (Nov–Apr citrus, Jul–Nov mango). We price, pack, and plan around recurring weekly cadence — which gives us, and the farmer, something worth optimising.
04
48-hour dispute window
If a carton arrives off-spec, photograph it and email within 48 hours of delivery. We credit or re-ship. No arguing over whether the reefer log shows +5.4 °C when it should have shown +4.0 °C.
Modern Egyptian pivot-irrigated mandarin orchard — geometric grid of trees, central pivot tower, sandy-ochre desert at the edges
500+ farms across five regions. Pivot-irrigated reclaimed-land blocks west of Alexandria, drip-fed orchards in Fayoum, Nile Delta citrus belts, Upper Egypt mango and date plantations — every harvest window covered, every container traceable to its block of origin.
